    No. When needed the Sending Institution has to check it before the student's nomination. The ECTS Coordinator of each School maintains the right to ask for a certificated if needed.

    The students receive full support from the Department of European Educational Programmes during the whole period of their studies.  The Secretariat of each School accommodates their needs regarding course registration and transcripts of records.  The Responsible (ECTS coordinator) of each School assists students with the course selection and with general academic support during the whole period of their studies.

    The University offers 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) per day free of charge to all students. 

    Course Materials

    The students can take books free of charge according to their courses but they will be in the Greek Language.

    Local Transportation

    1 Euro single ticket (Students have a discount)

    Health Insurance

    If needed, it’s covered by the University. It’s advisable to have insurance from home country.

    Is housing assistance available? How do students apply, and is it guaranteed?

    Our office offers to the students a website in which they can see available apartments in the city of Thessaloniki.  However, it works independently from our office.  Furthermore students receive assistance from the Erasmus Student Nework.  Our office can also offer advise to the students in their search for housing.

    The students have access to all hospitals on duty including the campus hospital.

    As long as it concerns the availability of internships: AUTh can accept students either for interniship or studies.

    As long as it concerns jobs and if they are allowed or are available. Students are generally allowed to find a job outside the University.  Jobs inside the University for students are usually under schemes like internships, traineeships, etc.
