    Not requested. However, it is highly recommended that applicants have at least a basic level of Spanish before coming to our university, since our classes are taught mainly in Spanish. Catalan (Valencian) can also help. In addition, they are encouraged to take the Spanish intensive course in September.

    The Language Centre of the University of Valencia offers reduced price Spanish courses to all exchange students.

    Option 1: October to February
    Option 2: February to JuneDuration: 60 hours
    Price: 65€. (only applicable for one semester)

    Are there any special advising or registrations concerns that students should be aware of? Are services available to assist in registration or course selection?

    All students must take at least 50% of the courses in the area to which they have been nominated by their home university. They can take courses in other areas of study as far as there is availability and no further restrictions apply.

    Buddy Program
    Almost all UV Faculties/Schools take part in the buddy programme. The buddy is a UV student who will contact you one or two months before you travel to Valencia and will help you to settle down in Valencia.
